Every instrument tells a story — years of gigs, a few dents, frets that have seen better days. Whether yours needs a quick tune-up or some deeper repair work, it gets the same hands-on attention as a custom build. I work on each instrument from my Media, PA shop, and I’ll always give you an honest read on what it actually needs before any work begins.

What I Work On

Setups & Intonation A proper setup is the difference between an instrument that fights you and one that disappears in your hands. This includes action adjustment, neck relief, intonation, and general playability tuning — ideal for an instrument that’s never quite felt right, or one that’s due for seasonal maintenance.

Fret Work From a basic level-and-polish to a full refret, fret work is where a lot of an instrument’s feel comes from. I check fret height, wear patterns, and fingerboard condition before recommending anything, so you’re not paying for more than the instrument needs.

Electronics & Wiring Crackling pots, dead pickups, switches that only work at one exact angle — electrical issues are some of the most common (and most fixable) problems an instrument can have. This covers everything from simple repairs to full rewiring and pickup swaps.

Structural Repairs Cracked bodies, broken headstocks, neck resets, loose braces — when an instrument needs more than fret work or electronics, I’ll take a close look and walk you through what it’ll actually take to get it structurally sound and playing right again.

How It Works

All repair work is by appointment only, out of my home workshop in Media, PA — there’s no walk-in retail location, so reaching out ahead of time is the best way to get started.

Send me a few details (and photos, if you have them) about what’s going on with your instrument, and I’ll let you know what I think it needs and roughly what to expect. From there, I’ll keep you posted as the work progresses, so you’re never left wondering where things stand.

Request a Repair — Tell me about your instrument and I’ll follow up with next steps.
